The Founder and Chairman of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, 'Arachudar, CR. Jayasankar and the Director of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, Mr. N.S. Dinesh planned the trip and got permission from the ISRO Research Centre.
On July 30, 2023, a group of 354 students and 20 teachers from the JPV Group of institutions visited the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota to witness the launch of the PSLV-C56 rocket. The students were excited to learn about rocket science and to see the launch up close.
Our JPV students were very excited to witness the launch of the PSLV-C56 rocket. They learned a lot about rocket science and space exploration during their visit to the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. They are now inspired to pursue careers in science and engineering.
The PSLV-C56 rocket carried seven satellites, including a Singapore satellite called the DS-EO. The launch was a success, and the students were thrilled to see it. The students first visited the space museum, where they learned about the history of space exploration and the different types of rockets that have been used. They also saw exhibits on the planets and stars.
After the museum, the students went to the launch pad to watch the PSLV-C56 rocket launch. The launch was a success, and the students were thrilled to see it.

The PSLV-C56 rocket was launched from the Second Launch Pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The launch was at 6:30 AM IST on July 30, 2023. The rocket carried seven satellites, including the DS-EO satellite from Singapore. The launch was a success, and all seven satellites were deployed into orbit.
